Nemag, a family business founded in 1924, is a preferred partner for the handling of dry bulk materials and has a strong reputation around the world. Nemag provides a full range of grabs and various types of quick-release links and rope pear sockets.
For over 15 years, the production areas in Zierikzee have been illuminated with energy-efficient, high frequency fluorescent luminaires. “An innovative installation for that time, which unfortunately cause problems at our factory now,” says Michel Corbeau, General Manager at Nemag.
“In our construction workshop we have a lot of welding work, which causes regular voltage peaks on the net. The electronics in the fluorescent luminaires cannot cope with these circumstances, with the result that we have to replace these luminaires regularly, with all the disruptions and costs that entails. ”
To find a solution for these problems, Nemag started looking for an alternative lighting solution in 2017.
