Bever Innovations has its roots in the petrol retail market. Following an extensive range of LED price displays, the LED specialist from Zeeland (NL) developed an innovative LED downlight, which continues to stand out for its high reliability, long lifetime, optimal color fidelity, dynamic control and significant energy savings. In 2014, these canopy luminaires were adapted for industry, where specific and extreme conditions also often apply. To ensure a wide range of applications here as well, multiple optics, light colors, sensors and software options were added to the product range. In addition, all LS Industry LED luminaires are equipped with a Long Range motion sensor. As soon as movement is detected in a room, the luminaire automatically switches up to a predetermined light level. If required, surrounding luminaires can also be activated, guaranteeing optimum safety and the best (working) light in any location.
Smart lighting controls
In line with the LS LED luminaires, the Bever Ambiente outdoor lighting, Cubiq low-voltage luminaires, LED contour lighting and LED shop lighting were also adapted for industry. For the intelligent control of these lights, the in-house developed EOS technology has been used since 2016, which is cleverly and invisibly built into the luminaires. The luminaires can then be connected plug-and-play in and/or around buildings, maintaining any existing infrastructure as much as possible. After installation, the LED luminaires automatically form a standalone, wireless network. They pass information to each other 24/7, without any connection to the internet. For example, information about movements, daylight levels and temperatures, on the basis of which the light level can be switched on and off intelligently. Optimal visibility, safety and energy efficiency can be combined perfectly.
Optimal business processes, safe working environment
In industry, registered presence, light intensities and energy consumption can be used to optimize lighting plans, business processes and routes, among other things. Connections to alarm, fire and building management systems ensure optimum safety. In the event of an emergency, all the lighting is immediately switched on at full power, allowing the building to be evacuated quickly and safely, without the need for radical measures to the lighting installation. The ambition for the coming years is to develop these techniques even further.
