CUBIQ

Industrial firms often have hard-to-reach and/or low spaces with a variety of obstructions which nevertheless need to be lit adequately and safely. To address this need, Bever Innovations’ Industrial division has the Cubiq luminaire—a low-voltage lighting system that provides first-rate illumination and is extremely safe to install. Cubiq requires just 48 volts and comprises a luminaire, a mounting bracket and a separate driver. It is possible to position them many metres away from each other. You will not need to put in 220-volt cables.

This is not only a solution for difficult-to-access places, but also for places where temperatures can mount considerably. Separating the driver from the luminaire extends the driver’s lifespan. It also hugely simplifies maintenance. The luminaires can be built in, agglomerated and/or tilted, as you see fit, thereby ensuring perfect illumination for any space and any activity.

Flexible, versatile lighting solution

The Cubiq is a flexible lighting solution that can be easily integrated into the various housings from Bever Innovations. The Cubiq luminaire can be used as such things as a wall fixture, (canopy) downlight and/or spotlighting and site lighting and provides first-rate illumination. A single luminaire measuring 10 x 10 cm is capable of illuminating large areas. The luminaires are IP67-compliant and are guaranteed to be dust-free and immersion-proof.

HACCP (BRC Global Standard / International Food Standard [IFS])

The Cubiq luminaires can be sealed with a specific, food-grade sealant, if you so choose. Special stainless steel food-grade caps and recessed fitting frames are also available. The Cubiq luminaires are guaranteed to be impact-resistant, splinter-free, free of glass and constructed from easy-to-clean materials, which means they are fully compliant with the International Food Standard (IFS), British Retail Consortium (BRC), Global Standard Food and HACCP guidelines.

Optimum protection, maximum lifespan

Cubiq luminaires are easy to set from 0 to 9,000 lumens. Furthermore, users can choose from a variety of lamps. Just like the Luci Series Industry LED luminaires, Cubiq luminaires guarantee high colour rendering (CRI 83+) in the colour temperature 4,000 kelvin. If the temperature of LEDs on the circuit board exceeds 80˚C, the LIPS (Luminaire Intelligent Protection System) will automatically be activated to dim the lamp. Thus providing optimum protection for the luminaire, without making concessions in terms of the stated lifespan. What’s more, every segment of the circuit board is continuously checked for voltage spikes, short circuits and temperature breaches. In addition, the luminaires feature a Light Normalizer that continuously measures reductions in light output and, if necessary, automatically compensates for them.

Part of a stand-alone, wireless lighting network

Cubiq luminaires are fitted with Smart technology as standard. Developed by Bever Innovations, this technology encompasses a control circuit board and an antenna which are incorporated into the lighting fixtures in a smart, discreet way so as not to be visible. Following installation, the Cubiq luminaires will automatically constitute a stand-alone wireless network. They not only relay information to each other 24/7 but also relay it to any other Bever Innovations products. These include the Luci Series Industry LED luminaires and Ambiente luminaires. Although the Cubiqs do not have their own motion and daylight sensors, thanks to the Smart network they are capable of using measurement data from the other LED products. Moreover, it is possible to connect up separate daylight and motion sensors to the luminaires.

‘Network completeness’

Analysing the saved data from the luminaires gives rise to possibilities in terms of network completeness and 100% predictive maintenance. For instance, the data renders current energy consumption levels transparent.
